TARClogoTARC [Team America Rocket Challenge] is an annual nation-wide rocketry-based aerospace design and flying challenge competition for 7th – 12th grade student teams who design and build a model rocket intended to satisfy specific performance-based flight objectives.  Please view this introductory video.

Team registration begins September 1st, leading to a competitive face-to-face fly-off in mid-May among the top 100 teams. The top 10 teams share a $100,000 prize pool.  The 1st place team goes to the international competition that for 2016 will be held near London (free trip!).

The event is sponsored by the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) on behalf of America’s aerospace industry, and by the non-profit National Association of Rocketry (NAR).
